Over the next few weeks you wil start to see some changes around here... After 4 years of doing business as "MediaMasters" our name will be changing to "Jamie Weiss Photography"!
Of course, anything that involves ice cream is fun!
They are a very sweet couple and I am looking forward to shooting their wedding in just a few more weeks!

The ceremony was held under the pavillion at Heritage Park (due to the threat of rain) and it was a very nice intimate setting for the friends and family of Tabi & Bob. Following the ceremony, the altar was converted into a stage for the band to get the party started. The recption was complete with saucy BBQ Ribs, a delicious cake (Yes, I got a piece this time!) and of course... dancing!
Ok, so for those of you who want to get to know me a little better... here are my results from a right-brained, left-brained quiz.
You Are 35% Left Brained, 65% Right Brained |
The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning. Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others. If you're left brained, you are likely good at math and logic. Your left brain prefers dogs, reading, and quiet. The right side of your brain is all about creativity and flexibility. Daring and intuitive, right brained people see the world in their unique way. If you're right brained, you likely have a talent for creative writing and art. Your right brain prefers day dreaming, philosophy, and sports. |
Today, my husband and I have been married for 6 years. Just thought you all might like to reminisce with me and take a look at a few images from our wedding...
Of course the railroad tracks are always a great place for pictures....
And I can't leave out Samson and Delilah... Katelyn's dogs joined us for the session, too!
CONGRATULATIONS KATELYN!
After a long day of induced labor and waiting, Baby Micah Graham was born last night at 10:52 PM. We had been marveling all afternoon and evening at the other babies in the nursery and their sizes, but when Micah came along, he took the prize for the biggest baby weighing in at 8 lbs 9 oz and he was 21 inches long! I think his daddy has been praying for a football player! UT had better start recruiting him soon or his daddy will send him to LSU!
Last Saturday, I had the privilege of spending the afternoon with a great couple Rhonda & Bentley and their dog Charleah. We traveled around Maryville finding some unique locations to capture Rhonda & Bentley spending time together on a nice afternoon.
I recently decided to donate my time to an organization called "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep." This organization was founded a little over a year ago to provide bereavement photography services to parents who are experiencing the loss of a child. These services are offered completely free for the families. If you know of anyone who is in need of our services, please feel free to have the family contact us. If you work in any facility that deals with families where our services might be needed from time to time (i.e., OB/GYN office, L&D at a local hospital, funeral home, hospice, etc.), please let me know so I can provide you with brochures about the services that are offered.
Last Saturday, John & I headed out to the Museum of Appalachia for the wedding of Alyssa & Philip. I had never been to the museum before, but it was a neat replica of an Appalachian Village. Their ceremony was held out in the middle of the village and there were peacocks roaming around everywhere. They kept spreading their feathers to get everyone's attention. The ceremony was very nice and the rain held off, too! The funniest thing was when one of the ring bearers went to make his way down the aisle and got hung up in the runner and fell straight to the ground. The look on his face was priceless.
Here's the little cutie I got to spend the morning with on my first day back this week. At just 3 months old and 17 lbs, I think he is destined to be a football player. (And, I bet his daddy isn't upset about that at all!) If you want to see more, just click on the title to view his slideshow!
Ok... so I am back from Alabama and ready to share a few pics from the wedding of Kristen & Adam at Heritage Park in Townsend, TN. You will find a few posted below or click here to check out the slideshow. ENJOY!
Yesterday Christy & I captured the wedding memories of Kristen & Adam. WOW! What a great wedding! Kristen & Adam decided to make their vows to each other in front of their friends and family surrounded by the beautiful scenery at Heritage Park. It was a little hot yesterday, but that didn't stop anyone from having a great time. The whole day was planned and coordinated very well by Maree Christian and she was there to ensure that everything was just perfect for the entire wedding party & guests. And I can't say enough about the gorgeous flowers designed by Samantha Anderson. The reception had great catering from Stokely's and an awesome band. (Sorry, but I forgot to ask anyone what their name was... I'll get back to you on that one.) All of the guests danced the night away and it was the perfect mix of Tennessee & Texas. Christy & I even got in on a dance with the minister! The whole event wrapped up with Kristen and Adam leaving through lines of guests with sparklers.
